Built to the very edge of a narrow corner site, this small building leans on full-height glazing rather than a conventional street façade, so its interior floors are legible from the sidewalk day and night. The retained weathered-concrete flank at one side keeps a trace of what stood there before, while the new glazed volume that wraps around it lights up at dusk like a lantern, giving the corner a quiet presence after the surrounding shops have closed.
