Our story

Fifteen years of grounded, considered design

Domus was founded in 2010 by a small group of architects who wanted to practice differently - fewer projects, more attention, and a genuine partnership with every client.

Today the studio works across residential, workplace, hospitality, and civic typologies, but the process hasn't changed: we visit the site before we sketch, we test materials before we specify them, and we stay involved through construction, not just design.

Every project we take on is an opportunity to respond to Indonesia's climate and culture with architecture that feels inevitable rather than imposed.

Philosophy

In service of a richer life

Domus Architecture has developed numerous projects by asking a single question: how do we create a richer living space? We have always pursued architectural TOTALITY, carrying out every project with the belief that better architecture creates a richer human life.

We aim to integrate architecture and life by projecting the GENIUS LOCI - the spirit of a place - into every design we create.

We believe the places we inhabit shape a more beautiful society when the spaces we live in are created with intention. This is the virtue of Domus in this era.
