This beachfront resort steps its guest wings down toward the sand, so every room looks out through a screen of timber louvres toward the water. A pool deck and open-air dining pavilion sit directly on the beach edge, framed by mature coconut palms retained through construction, while an atrium lobby set back from the shore uses a reflecting pool and an open central stair to keep the arrival sequence cool and naturally lit rather than air-conditioned from the door.
