This corner house lets its upper floor project well beyond the ground floor beneath it, wrapping a glazed corner room in a board-formed concrete shell that reads as a single solid mass hovering over the entrance. The exposed formwork texture left visible on the concrete gives the finished house a deliberately raw, unadorned surface, a material choice that reads as confidence rather than an unfinished state now that the building is complete and occupied.
